I am very embarrassed to share this article with you.  It exposes a sin that I am not very proud to talk about.  As a matter of fact, I “fought” the Holy Spirit all the way to the point of saying, “Well, I wouldn’t know what to title it!” Continue reading

A Lesson Learned Off-Road

Should someone allow hobbies to become more important than family or friends?  I think we all know the answer to that question; however, sometimes a hobby will turn into an obsession before you realize what happened.  Please understand I am not condemning healthy recreation.  I think it is necessary for mental well-being and healthy living.  Allow me to take you down a road that could have consumed me.

Buck Fever

Fall is my favorite time of the year!  The colors are eccentric, and the change from hot weather to a more mild temperature is exhilarating.  I also enjoy football, especially the camaraderie and rivalry that can be so much fun.  There is, however, a season that I look forward to even more every year – deer season.   Continue reading “Buck Fever”
